Strategic alliance between Silversquare and Grant Thornton

A strategic alliance between Silversquare and Grant Thornton to create a new startup home for entrepreneurship and innovation

LUXEMBOURG - The Technology Hub of Grant Thornton Luxembourg has formed a strategic alliance with Silversquare to offer to its startups an access to a large community and design coworking spaces. Current members of Silversquare will also benefit from this initiative by having the opportunity to attend events, meetups, business meetings and workshops.

The Technology Hub has recently hosted a Go-to-market conference to discuss case studies and best practices about the time to go to market. We also have lunched together with the concept of House of Coins an open forum for discussions about virtual currencies, token, legislation and market adoption.

Furthermore we focus to promote the most innovative Blockchain technologies and to increase the awareness about the most promising projects. As an example, we lead the Tezos community in Luxembourg organising regular meetups to spread the news and to engage people in testing and learning about on chain governance, smart contracts, decentralised applications and consensus algorithms.

The Technology Hub offers all-around services from shaping an idea into real innovation or developing the right path to help startups from their initiation towards successful business sustainability. By developing programs, tasks and processes as well as offering such community and coworking spaces, the Technology Hub provides startups with a new home to their entrepreneurship and innovation as well as access to a broad portfolio of potential customers. We indeed firmly believe that any idea can lead to high potential if motivated people shape it.

Silversquare is a new workspace in the heart of Luxembourg City. It combines energy, inspiration and dynamism from innovative open spaces with the professional environment and services of a business centre.

This partnership aims to support and complement the active role of Grant Thornton in the startup and entrepreneur world in Luxembourg. As Silversquare has coworking spaces in Brussels and Luxembourg (with more than 1000 members), this partnership provides Technology HUB’s startups a wealth of comfortability, flexibility and accessibility to a large community.

Silversquare already hosts in the PSF-compliant environment a part of the infrastructure of GTChain.net, one of the top 10 Blockchain initiatives in Luxembourg, launched by Grant Thornton Technology Hub. This initiative aims to accelerate the Blockchain innovation by facilitating the development of the Blockchain ecosystem.

The Technology Hub is thankful for the great commitment from Claudine Bettendroffer in this promising alliance. Thanks to this cooperation, Silversquare and the Technology Hub are creating the Luxembourg startups home of tomorrow, where any idea can lead to great success.

Jesús Peña García, formal entrepreneur and director of the Technology Hub, believes that a successful ecosystem for startups starts from building bridges between the different actors in Luxembourg.
