Experience
Jean-Philippe has over 20 years of experience in assisting clients on all aspects that relate to payroll questions including the management of expatriates.
He has in-depth knowledge on social security (determination and optimisation of applicable social security system, pension advices, secondment of employees, etc.) as well as labour law issues.
Furthermore, Jean-Philippe is an expert on all tax items relating to international employment (preparation and optimisation of income tax returns, set-up of salary-split, tax optimisations further to international assignments...).
Jean-Philippe Franssen joined Grant Thornton in June 2004 and is in charge of the payroll as well as personal tax department.
Before joining Grant Thornton, Jean-Philippe worked for a Big 4 firm in the payroll department and for a Big 4 firm in the personal tax department in Luxembourg.
