New on-demand services: innovate to respond to the crisis

LUXEMBOURG – Following the COVID-19 crisis and the challenges it incurred for many companies, Grant Thornton's Advisory department is launching new on-demand services.

A new approach in response to COVID-19

The COVID-19 crisis has highlighted the need for cutting-edge expertise in constantly evolving areas such as security, IT, cybersecurity, business continuity and data protection. At the same time, there is a strong pressure on companies' cash flow and therefore it is pushing managers to optimise their investments more than ever.

However, some companies encountered challenges to meet these needs due to the limited availability and high cost of such specialists. The latter, although touching on critical areas, also have an involvement that is not always required on a full-time basis.

On-demand services for greater flexibility

In addition to core advisory services in the banking and financial domains, Grant Thornton now offers the possibility of "on-demand" access to specialists for specific functions, such as CIO (Chief Information Officer), CISO (Chief Information Security Officer), CFO (Chief Financial Officer), DPO (Data Protection Officer), Business Continuity Manager, and Cloud Officer.

By having direct and regular access to these experienced profiles, companies benefit from the expertise of the seasoned specialists whenever and when needed, for example to act on specific projects within a team, or for a number of hours, or a regular and recurring part-time engagement.

On-site or remote interventions

The COVID-19 crisis made many companies realise that teleworking is an effective way of doing business. In addition to traditional "on-site" interventions, our specialists can also work remotely using digital – and secured – tools, be it for communication, project management, resource coordination, information and knowledge sharing.
